Default Crank up the bass!

I know NOTHING about audio systems, I will be honest.

But something I want in my car, is to have the bass cranking when i roll down the street.

What kind of sub woofers are nice, not to expensive, and most importantly LOUD.

Thanks!

I've got two kenwood 12s with a kenwood 400 amp with my stock radio in my s197 and it makes people turn around and look from a couple hundred feet away all the time and it didn't cost an arm and a leg either.

MTX jackhammers hit HARD, just get an amp with enough power. And make sure you get an amp with a fan otherwise it will get really hot all the time.

I have two Alpine 10in subs. Cost me 100 bucks and a cheapo Pioneer Amp. Hits very hard. Had the hardest hitting system last year when I was in High School.

Doesn't take much to hit hard in these cars since they're pretty small.

I have 2 10" MTX Thunder 4500s, and a Sony Xplod D6000GTX amp. I built the box myself to the optimum specs for the subs. My system is prob the hardest pounding in my town and Ive had it for 2 years.

What kind of budget are You looking at for this project?

SPL or SQ?

Can You build Your own box?

Do You mind ordering from the internet?

What type of car is this going in, and is trunk space an important issue?
