ebay kits are fine as long as you buy a reputable brand. ive had an 80$ kit (xentec) on my bike i got on ebay and its been on my bike for about 1.5 years and 11k miles. not so much as a burned out bulb so far. i know MANY people on the r6 forum using the same brand (and hell theres even a decent 40$ kit also) and i've only heard of very few people having problems with any of them. HOWEVER, they aren't very popular with cars because they are not dual filimint (so you dont have highbeams with these cheaper kits, but their reliability is not questioned in my book unless you buy some unknown knockoff brand).

angel eyes and halos....save them for the ricers.

Help, just put the new hids in the new headlights, both ballasts work with engine off, but when the engine is running one doesnt work and the other one flickers. I have to think this must be a voltage sensing problem(cars computer) but how do I fix it?

PWM, pulse width modulation
You need a relay wiring harness with a 9v+ relay, or one with a standard 12v relay and a capacitor.
This is going to happen with any plug and play kit on a 05+ Mustang, no matter the brand. The ones that do not flicker are even worse... as those ballasts are at risk of premature failure.

Also some VALUABLE INFORMATION:

Some 2006 models and all 2007 and up models will be missing bulb covers in the head lamps. Installing any HID kit will result in light being emitted directly into oncoming traffic irregardless of aiming, bulb position, yada, yada.

The only cure is to use bulbs that are specifically coated with a light opaque applications to prevent light emission through the bulb top and forward of the bulb arc. We are currently the only manufacturer/vendor offering such bulbs/service, so please be careful of kits advertised for these Mustang model years.

Ok, thank you.
This is an H1 kit in a projector headlight. Please just tell me what I need to buy from you. The ballast runs max current of 6A if that helps.
