Default Interior speakers

it's been a while since i have been shopping for mids and highs. with the MANY very good manufacturers I'm not sure whats the best option to pick as far as best sound quality. so i figured the people of A/V could tell me there opinions on sound. LETS HEAR EM! I wouldn't need them but my friend that can't leave anything alone was playing with my amp and cranked the crossover and the gain on the rear channel and fried a few speakers

ah there is a budget, makes a small difference.

When it comes to speakers it is really subjective to the listeners taste in music, how he/she listens to it and a few other things. I always recomend that you go to your local car audio stores, and take a few of your favorite cd's that you are familiar with, with you. Take the time to listen to every speaker in the store that fits your needs and it will not take much time at all to find a pair that meets the budget needs, and sounds good TO YOU.

some people, alot actually love kicker but I have never been big on them. I have not heard a hifonics speaker for years to tell you if you would like them.

if you're a SQ guy over output you won't do better than these for ~$250

I run the hybrid ovations in my doors, tweeters mounted just over the mids. Beautiful sound!

you really only need the fronts to be done. also do you plan on getting a after market amplifier? seems like it, what is the model and how much power do you have?

I have boston SL80 plates rear and fade 75/25 front to rear. Spend your money on the front stage!! When I fade rear those bostons sound like pure crap compared to the Morels up front. No comparison. Blow your load (so to speak lol) on the front coaxs. You can keep the stock rears for fill..

i got a eclipse 36401 (i think) amp hooked in now and i want to replace the rears cause my friends like WHATS THIS DO!! and turned the rear gain all the way up before i could even answer and he blew some of them so if i leave them itll make that static hissing noise along with pure crisp sound from the front so im just wanting to replace all of them.
