Default Speaker Help!!

I need the help from the masses on this one.

So I just got back from my local stereo shop, as I was getting a short in my recently installed Boston Accustic Pro 60 components. So after looking into the issue, the shop told me that the problem is with the floating tweeter creating too much presure on the speaker and door panal. My options are..

A) Ignore the short
B) Buy new speekers
C) Drill into the door panal and flush mount the tweeter

AHHHHHH!!

I need some help on this one...as I dont want to have them cut up my door panals.

The speaker is cutting out.

The problem with the speaker setup is the "floating tweeter" which is placed directly ontop of the speaker. During the instillation (and much to my dismay) they stretched the panal over this tweeter...causing it to stretch the plastic. With the added pressure being placed on the speaker....it cuts out.

I first noticed this by putting all power to this side and noticed that it wasnt playing. Pressing on the speaker would cause it to come on or off depending on what it was currently doing. What the shop "now" wants to do (since they already streched the panal) is to drill a hole just under the door handle and flush mount the tweeter.

BAH! I dont want my care cut up....but it is either that or I loose those speakers and pay for new ones...or deal with the cutting in and out.
