Head Unit with iPod controls?
Hey everybody,
I'm thinking about getting a new head unit for my 2000 Mustang, and I was looking for suggestions. I'm not terribly picky about features, but I want it to play CDs, have integrated iPod support, be single DIN, and cost under $200. Anyone have some good suggestions? Also, what should I do about the CD player that's currently in there? It's a separate single DIN unit, and I don't know what to put in its spot instead (since the main head unit will go in the top spot, not the CD player spot).
Thanks for the advice,
Frank

not sure about the head unit itself, but on mustangs that didnt come with a CD player, they had a little cubby type thing in that area. might be able to find one at a junk yard or ebay or something
dont know if the speed of sound thing will work with the 2000, but heres a link to that sort of thing, you best bet might be either modding a radio delete panel, or looking in the junk yards, also a good audio shop should have something that should work or they will be able to fab one up for you.
