Those are some pretty generic questions you asked. No one else knows your preferences for good sound. What doesn't "Cut it" about the stock system? Is it the base system with no door subs? Is it the Shaker 500 with door subs? Since you like techno, I'm guessing that you prefer more bass. I added a decent sub and amp to my Shaker 500 and I am pretty happy with the sound now.

Depends what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend, there is lots and lots of options out there that range in quality and price!

Sub $90

Amp $180

Install Kit $40

Deck $110
http://www.woofersetc.com/p8587/DEH2...-USB-Input.htm

and you'll need a dash kit, probably another $30, and to make a sub box

Nothing to complicated, should make the stock speakers sound a bit better, good bass and connect an ipod rather than dealing with CDs

if you want bass get two shallow mount jl 13.5's they hit harder than most 15's and sound better than almost all 12's. best subs out there if you want tht kinda sound. and don't be cheap..good gosh don't be cheap. if your gunna do it, do it right. why save a lil money and not have a great sound or have somethin mess up then u lose like twice what you "saved " by not buyin the good stuff

Those are prolly expensive as **** as well. His $00 probably can't buy one of those :|. I would get an W7 but I can't justify spending $700 on a sub alone, I may end up going with Two 12" L5's or maybe one L7.

But I agree if you are going to do it, do it right.
