I will be doing mine like this but still need to build my subwoofer. Still un decided on a 12" in some type of 4th order maybe even a 6th order. Or just a 15" in a 3.5ft^3@30hz box. Is your car convertible or coupe?

This person can help with a rear seat delete and sound system integration: http://kdezines.com/

I contacted him when I was thinking of installing my amplifiers in a rear seat delete kit. Just be warned, he isn't cheap!

ETA: Here is my build log: https://mustangforums.com/forum/audi...placement.html

I like the side mounts. So much better looking than a big goofy box taking up the trunk.

Why not? More efficient box for one. A well designed box for my driver will have more output than a simple slot ported design. I would have to build my driver first and pull parameters and then model it to see what it will perform best in. Parts come in on the 6th
