well after some more looking into my situtation, and tired of the lazy customer service at soundgate. I have found that there is an headunit that is zune ready, the kenwood kiv-bt900, So I ordered that. I will be looking into replacing the rest of the system. speakers, subs amp, etc. so ill be asking sometime about that.

Default Aux cable

I would have simply gotten an aux cable to plug into the aux input jack in the center consol. The one I use is just a cable with both ends that are headphone plug ins. It may not charge it but you could probably find a different way to charge it. It still opporates the ipod/zune pretty well and you can control the volume straight through the device if you want (turn the device all the way up to get the loudest playback obviously). The cable is like ten dollars or so. I hope this helpped.. even though I saw you baught a new headunit..

I got the new head unit installed. Very nice. It has zune control which is what I was looking for. I dont like having to grab the zune unlock it and have to scroll trough the device while driving. With this new head unit I dont have to. It hooks up through usb. and also has aux. with a bunch of other features. thanks for your help anyway.

Too bad you had such crappy customer service from Soundgate. Sadly, I still blame them for your issues, but at least you resolved your problem with another head unit.
