i am having problems with new h/u
because if that's what you are trying to do.... i really would not recommend doing it... everyone i talked to recommended bypassing the amps in the back, that includes installers from best buy, a local shop and a car audio place.
i got mixed reviews as to the why... one guy said it wouldn't work at all because of the connectors... another said the amps would blow... and the third said it would be bad sound... i can't specify for u... because i bypassed them
however talk to hawaiian7873, because in post titled: Want to keep Mach460 setup w/ new headunit.... he said that

If you all you want to do is intergrate a subwoofer in your system then check out this link. <http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/...peeds1.htm> I have also been told that it is possible to install an aftermarket headuint, and still use the stock amps, if the headunit has at least 3 RCA preouts. Hope that helps
