Default Help with DVD player in wifes Aspen

So I just got my wife a 2009 Chrysler Aspen and it's sweet, she really loves it. The only problem is that the factory installed dvd player isn't connected because it's illegal to have a front mounted dvd player in Oregon. Everything else in the unit works, radio, satellite, back-up camera, cd player, mp3 player, hard drive. I just need to find out how to enable the dvd function, anybody have any ideas?

No real way of knowing without getting in there. My guess is that if it was disabled by the dealer, it's most likely just a wire or two not connected.

Yeah they said they disabled it. I just didn't know if that meant they physically disabled it or what. I guess I'll just have to get in there and poke around.

Yeah...The reason I say that is because dealers are cheap lol. If they have to disable something like that they will do it as fast/cheap as possible. Nothing is cheaper than pulling a wire. I seriously doubt they mess with it internally.
