Default Looking for a new audio system...

and i need some suggestions on what would be a good combo for me...i wanna get a double din touch screen(don't know which one to get) i listen to everything, from rap, hip hop, r&b, rock, and some country(so i would still like it to pound) i don't really have a "limit" because i have some money saved and would get the double din first and the subs and amps later, but i would still like to keep it at a reasonable price

any suggetions is greatly appriciated

Sorry, looks like your thread got buried.

As far as speakers/subs...Your choices are huge. Get a ballpark # on what you'd be willing to spend and guys here can tell you the best that you can get in that price range. Also what kinds of music you listen to...And how you like to play it. Loud and clear/shake your windshield loose/both (mwahahahaha)/etc...

well in that case...

Subs-

https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraud...iew.shopscript

Amps-

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...s.asp?cat_id=2 <-click power series amps

Components-

http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/prod...hp?Family_Id=6 <--Also has coaxial if you prefer them.

But like I said there's lots of choices and everyone will have different opinions. My advice is if you have that much to spend, go to a pro audio shop and hear before you buy as well as get a clean, pro install.

My only complaint about the Fi BTL series is that they are power hungry and require a HUGE box to sound good. The Fi BL should more than meet the OP's needs for playing fairly loud while sounding good in an enclosure that is roughly 1 cubic foot smaller than that required for the BTL. I'd go with a 2 ohm dual dual voice coil sub and find a 1 ohm stable monoblock to power it.

For the subwoofer amplifier, I would recommend looking into Sundown: http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/inde...roducts_id=187 or if you don't mind buying refurbished: http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/inde...th=65_67_69_80
