Default v6 2011 basic > sound upgrade...pls advice!

Hello,

Probably somebody can help me with an advice:
I have the V6 2011 basic version and I'm planning to upgrade the sound system. As you know I don't have the midbass speakers in front doors and I don't want to cut the door.
What I'm thinking to do is to install in front a pair of component speakers and in read deck 2 midbass (instead the factory speakers). And of course in the trunk a reasonable subwoofer for bass.

Will this setup work? And how many amps do I need?

Thanks

I want something in the middle not high-end. So the budget could be up to 2k $ without headunit.
Instead of headunit I want to build a carpc with touchscreen. The sound card probably will be something good from Creative. (or do you have other suggestions?)
Now I'm just in planning mode because until November/December I'm limited on SCOSCHE dash kit (I don't really like Metra one)

Goals? I want to have good music, loud when I want, but more important clear sound. As I said not high end...

Thanks

Why would you want to do that? I mean, what are you going to do on it in the car that you would need an OS for? You could just buy a Nav with voice/touch/bluetooth/CD/DVD for about the same cost to build what you're talking about.

Honestly? I don't have a valid reason just the fact that I'm working in IT and also I want to have the possibility to customize things later; and upgrade much easier. Plus there are some cool software to play with it. (for example you can connect to ODB interface and read real engine data...it is just cool...probably not very useful
ahh..also I will be able to program the steering wheel controls to do what I want. (I ordered a GT 500 Steering wheel with audio and sync controls)
or I can add a rear camera...and a front one
or I can connect remotely to my car PC )) (which is stupid btw

What do you think about this enclosure for component speakers?

In this way I don't have to cut the door panel and the setup will be a little bit easier.

i have components not utilzing the shaker sub location and cut nothing

some components have a coaxial mount for the tweeter, otherwise 5.25 woofer and tweeter will fit behind oem opening

yes...and I'm thinking to "Image Dynamics XS-57" component speakers.

Next is to find a suitable amps for them...and then subwoofer and amps for it as well...long journey and a lot of $$
