v6 2011 basic > sound upgrade...pls advice!
Hello,
Probably somebody can help me with an advice:
I have the V6 2011 basic version and I'm planning to upgrade the sound system. As you know I don't have the midbass speakers in front doors and I don't want to cut the door.
What I'm thinking to do is to install in front a pair of component speakers and in read deck 2 midbass (instead the factory speakers). And of course in the trunk a reasonable subwoofer for bass.
Will this setup work? And how many amps do I need?
Thanks

Instead of headunit I want to build a carpc with touchscreen. The sound card probably will be something good from Creative. (or do you have other suggestions?)
Now I'm just in planning mode because until November/December I'm limited on SCOSCHE dash kit (I don't really like Metra one)
Goals? I want to have good music, loud when I want, but more important clear sound. As I said not high end...
Thanks

ahh..also I will be able to program the steering wheel controls to do what I want. (I ordered a GT 500 Steering wheel with audio and sync controls)
or I can add a rear camera...and a front one

or I can connect remotely to my car PC
)) (which is stupid btw
What do you think about this enclosure for component speakers?

In this way I don't have to cut the door panel and the setup will be a little bit easier.

Next is to find a suitable amps for them...and then subwoofer and amps for it as well...long journey and a lot of $$
