Default hid question

my roommate has an hid kit he bought for his jeep. it has h7 bulb. he said it is a retro kit (not sure exactly what he means), and I was wondering what bulb type I need for an 06 gt. he can do anything with cars, so making it work isn't the problem, I just need to know what all I should look at as far as numbers with the kit to make sure the wattage, bulb type, etc is where it should be. What are the key things I should look at?

will tell you what bulbs you need for your car

as for wattage... 35watt is stock watage, most guys for the 55w as they are much brighter, you can run either

the bulbs come in a variety of "colors" 5000w with a 55w bulb will be the most white and most effective light

I bought a kit from DDM Tuning, not the best quality, it is mostly plug and play, but they offer a life time warranty. Installing them is easy so you and him should have no trouble installing them. I ordered a high/low kit and the high/low beams were reversed (the fogs wouldn't come one). Just little thing to keep a look out for. If you have anymore questons feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to answer them for you or find a guy who can. You may want to look into projectors as well for your HIDs. Goodluck.
