Default 06 GT Shaker 500 Delete

I finally got fed up with the Shaker and pulled it all out. Put an older set of Polk EX 6.5" components that I had lying around up front and a pair of Kicker 10s in the trunk. All driven with some old U.S. Acoustics (Zed) amps. Went with a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD head unit. Decided I wanted a stealth install on the components with no permanent mods to the wiring or plastic. Here is what I came up with.

Cut a piece of MDF to fit in the upper door speaker location, painted it black, and installed the tweeter.



Picked up a small sheet of steel from Lowes to make adapters for the 6.5" woofers.



I will post some pics of the sub-box later. Overall, the system sounds amazing. Huge improvement over the factory system.
