This just started happening a few days ago, i would be listen to the radio and it would just cut off then on again. And sometimes you would hear the engine noise through the speakers.

Do you have the stock Mach 460 stereo in there, or an aftermarket?

I've gotten engine noise through my speakers in the past from a bad ground or bad connections, but you've still got the stock system.. If you can pull your head unit out, try to visually inspect the cables for any cuts or nicks, or maybe one of the connectors has started to slip out. When I bought my car, the stock connector for the amplifier input was broken in half and was causing popping when I was playing music. I know it sounds simple, but try and get a picture of what's going on back there.
