Default Mach 460 System

I tried searching but couldnt find what I am looking for.

Can anyone give me the layout, or explain the specs and everything involved (such as number of speakers, amps, watts, etc.) Im just trying to get a basic understanding of the system.
Thank You

if you are considering adding it to your car, my simple answer is that it would be too expensive to get all the parts(new door panels, tweeter pods, and the wire hrns's are the hardest to find. You would be far better off with a half descent aftermarket.

oh, should be two amps hanging from the rear deck, and another smaller one up in the dash. What is teh system doing or not doing? Have you checked any fuses yet?

In my old Mustang I didnt have it, so i am just trying to get an understanding for it. Im pretty sure im missing those 2 amps. The system isnt as loud or as much bass as I would like (which isnt much) But that might be me having to mess around with the aftermarket head unit, right?

go in the trunk. Look on the top of it, or the bottom of the rear deck. The mach sytem will consist of a large plastic enclosure with both amps hanging off of the bottom. If you do not see it then someone removed it so look and see what speakers are in back.

Yeah, they're gone. Would any particular amp(s) work there?

Looks like they should be here:

Lots of info on the mach systems here: http://www.flemworld.com/Mach460/Mach.html

Still looks like the stock speakers. You can probably find some used mach 460 amps on ebay, but personally I'd just ditch the whole system. It's nothing but a mess if you want to add anything aftermarket later on.
