hey, ive got a '00GT Mach 460 sound system in it, anyway, it has a tap[e deck and a cd player from the factory but they are both seperate units. I want to install my Amplifier and subwoofer but i dont ahve any experience installing stereo s**t in a car with seperate cd/tape deck units, anyone have any experience doing so? if so id love the help. im going to be using the factory cd deck and tape deck. i guess i just need to know #1, is it even possible to hook an amp up with my factory s**t, and #2, if it is possible, i want to make sure the sub wont only work with the cdplayer or only wiht the tape/radio. i want to make sure it will work with both</P></BLOCKQUOTE><edited><editID>00GT</editID><editDate>37960.5489930556</editDate></edited>

you will need to buy aline output converter [from your localstereoshop] you'll need to find the two factory amps in trunk lookfor BLACKW/PINK STRIPE ISNEGITIVE,AND ORANGE W/RED STRIPE IS POSITIVE, LEFT SIDEAmp. .And FOR RIGHT SIDE BLUE W/ GREY STRIPE is positive and tan is negitive You'll need to wire in the line output converter see direction w/ converter tap into wirelisted aboveBUTT ONE SMALL PROBLEM THE MACH460 SYSTEM HAS BASSAUTO LOUD FEATURE THE MORE YOU TURN UP VOLUME THE MORE BASS THE FACTORY SYSTEM PULLS OUT THAT INCLUDES THE BASS YOU ADD [IT IS SO YOU DON'T BLOW FACTORY SPEAKERS FORD SAVES $ WHILE SPEAKERS ARE UNDER THE FACTORY WARRANTY ,COOL ...NOT GOOD LUCK BY THE WAYI RUN CAR STEREO SHOP IN FLORIDA ULTIMATE AUDIOWWW.ULTIMATE.AUDIO.COMCHECK IT OUT 01SHMS2 <edited><editID>shmGTs2</editID><editDate>37960.7435300926</editDate></edited>
