I just inherited a kenwood DNR-1000U in dash at no cost to me. Has anyone installed this on a 06-up mustang? My last go around with installing aftermarket radio(s) on a Ford was a 02 Expedition. Does Ford still have their in house amp that needs to be bypassed to install aftermarket radio(s)?

Thanks

not sure extactly, but when I installed my kenwood kiv-bt900 in my 07 gt, I did not bypass the stock amp that the shaker 500 used, just used a wiring kit that i got from cructhfield.
