6" X 9" angled speaker spacers
i just installed a new set of 6" X 9" speakers in the rear back panel above and behind the rear seat. sound great but ive found some angled spacers, they angle the speakers towards the drive. just wounder if it would make that much difference. they are $17.00 includes shipping. anyone done this. by the way, its a 70 mustang coupe.

That might help a little bit. It's not that much money in case you don't notice any difference. However, with those speakers facing the glass, you might find that angling them more forward could hurt your sound. Play with them and see. I'd also try angling them towards the back of the car so you can use the glass to reflect the sound forward. But then again, I think overall you won't notice that much difference. Put on amp on them and they will rock.
thats what i figured. maybe a small difference maybe not. the angled spacers i ended up buying are the ones for $10.18 off ebay. so its worth the try. i also figured it would make for a cleaner install seeing as the holes arent a perfect fit for the speakers. the new sony 6" X 9"s are a little different than the older ones. they have a tapered angle on the lip.
