ok since i can only get 1 inch tweeters that are aftermarket, which ones should i go with and has anyone mounted them in the mach 460 door tweeters.

What he is trying to tell you is buying speakers without listening to them is like purchasing a car without test driving it. We all have our preferences, and what sounds good to me may not sound good to you. Conversely, the sound you like may be the sound I loathe.

My recommendation would be for you to go to as many shops that sell speakers as you possibly can and listen to them on the sound board. While it is true they will sound different once installed in your vehicle, if there is something you hate on the soundboard, chances are you will hate it even more once installed in your vehicle.

well in my 04 GT before it was totaled i had memphis tweeters in the mach 460 door locations. I had them installed so i never knew how you can install them since the aftermarkets are smaller than the stocks. i will also need passive crossovers, but not really sure what to go with for them either.

 

anyone? for crossovers? i guess the best way to connect them would be to the door speakers? well in line
