Default need some advice

well, first i need to know what types of speakers are in 04 verts. i have heard so many different types and i dont have the tools or patience to pull panels.

my idea is to put Alpine Type R components in the front and rear with a 6 inch JL W3 sub in a custom box in the console. i was thinking about using Alpine amps. I have no clue about car audio. i just want it clean, loud and rattly bass pisses me off.

to keep it not rattley(?) you might want some sound dampening around the subwoofer. what kind off music do you like? how much money are you looking at spending? do you plan on adding any other bass/midbass speakers? do you have an aftermarket headunit? and 5x7/6x8's in the doors for all our year mustangs. not sure about the rear for verts.

i have an aftermarket head unit. and with the Alpine Rs components they make a plate to fit in the 6x8 slot. the rears on verts are components for verts. and i hate bass rattle.

do the type r's have a tweeter in them? if not i would suggest some kind of speaker that does. reason being is with the ones without, even if you add in tweeters somewhere else, the sound waves from the different speakers will not hit your ears at exactly the same time since they will be at different distances from you. spend all you can afford on your doors, because they make more of a distance than the rears do. and if you plan on putting in sub(s), get speakers that have the best highs, as your subs will cover the bass.

the components have amazing sound alone but i want just a little bit more bass and the 6 inch will do that. plus, vert trunks are already small enough and the 6 inch will mount in the console. i will lose the storage there but it's empty anyways.

I have my type-r comps in my ram on a amp and they bump enough, prolly more then what you are going to get out of a 6" woofer in our tiny center console.I cant see it working in the console unless you go super custom.
