Thanks. I emailed them and they responded this morning. I was told that there is no official release date for it, but that it may be released shortly after the CES show.

I didn't see this at CES. Only saw the other one displayed.
After seeing the Scosche kit in person I like it.

The sync is retained within the harness that you purchase separately. PAC makes one and it costs about $150, which isn't bad considering most of the pieces needed to keep door chimes and other useless things in GM vehicles working costs anywhere from $50-120.

So if it was not at CES then they might delay the release?

I would say if it wasn't there then it isn't even ready.
The Metra kit the had was just awful, it was even installed in the JVC Shelby GT500.

I had emailed them on Monday again and they said that there is still not a release date for it and they don't even have any info regarding that kit. I guess I'm gonna have to go with the ugly one meanwhile and swap it once its released.

I have been waiting for the Scosche kit for a long time, but now that it has been released comes the new version of the Metra kit. I now have to wait till I see the new Metra kit installed and see reviews of this new kit. More waiting? Hope the metra kit comes out sooner than later!
