Default No Bass

Ok so I just bought a 2001 Gt Monday that has the Mach 460 audio system and an aftermarket JVC deck. Well I have noticed that I am getting no bass at all on the system. Could they have not hooked up the deck correctly or is the JVC not compatible with it?

I believe it is this deck.

OK well I think I found the problem. The idiot that installed the dang thing used ELECTRICAL TAPE instead of butt connectors to connect all of the wires. Wow...

Ok so I rewired it and still no bass. Any ideas?

I noticed the amp ground wasn't hooked up and the amp power wasn't connected. I connected those to the correct wires on the aftermarket harness for the deck and I still get nothing.

I'm starting to wonder if its not the crappy deck. My sony I had in my 67 had a bass adjustment, but this jvc doesn't have an option for one.

EDIT: I'm going to order an aftermarket harness, looks like I may be missing a harness.

Yup just installed a Sony, you need the extra smaller harness adapter with the RCA hookups and amp trigger.

If I remember I'll get some pics of how mine is wired for you tonight.
