Head Unit/Dash Adapter Kit
I've had my 12 GT base model for a just over a month now and I'm starting to get the itch for better sound. I've done a little research on an aftermarket dash adapter kit, but I've found very few options.
Here is one from crutchfield.....

Has anyone found something like this for less than $400?

You get 2 pre-fab options, Scoche (FD1441B specifically for $300)or Metra (99-5826CH specifically for the new one, 99-5823CH for the old one), the metra offering (older version) is what Crutchfield is re-selling. That's it.
The Scoche offering is still vaporware. So really just the one choice, supposedly (again) this will change in a few days acorrding to another thread on the scoche offering. It will be cheaper, and look alittle better than that older model metra one that crutchfield is still selling.
Let me re-phrase that, vaporware for an "official" release, you can find them via ebay and the like, but they're still being revamped, and as such are not listed as available on their site.
Were it me, I'd just wait for the new metra one listed above. Having it not just prettier, but as a touchscreen interface, and being able to interface with SYNC (audio to aux line for aftermarket head-unit) makes the extra pricetag worth it. But to get as cheap as you can, you'll have to wait for Scoche, should it ever actually be released, or go with an ebay sale of one and roll those dice.
