Default 99-04 Upgrade

2000 Ford Mustang Convertible. I recently redid my audio to add two 10 inch subs. I added a new headunit and everything but in the process i removed that front amp. I belive that weakened the bottom speakers on the doors.
My question is, can i replace the stock 8ohm speakers with 4ohm aftermarket speakers to make up for the difference? (and possibly improve sound)
Also, would 5x7 or 6x8 fit better? (I have the Mach460)

I doubt changing the speakers will make up the difference in sound...why did you remove the front amplifier for? I have two 10 inch subs in the trunk too but didn't have to remove any stock amplifier. I installed my harness from futureshop and my new headunit and never removed any of the stock amps.

I found some speakers that came pretty highly recomended by some people so il get them today.
I removed the front amp because of some wire problems I had, and after everything got connected i just bypassed the amp (nothing I can do now)
so anyway, im going to get the speakers anyway. There cheap and loud, and many people like them so im going for it.

Pioneer ts-a6874r 3 way speakers.

well, I got the speakers, and there much better.
I can actually hear the speaker now playing with the others instead of a MUCH lower volume, and it now has noticible bass
