Default 2 or 3 way speakers

ok i want some new speakers for my car, that have more bass, but still have good treble. i want to get as much bass as i can from these speakers, without having to go with subs. any help is appreciated.

If you want more bass then get 4 way speakers. 3 ways have more bass than 2 way.

Decent set of component speakers will smoke any "X-way" combination speaker.

Secondly, what gives you the impression that a 3-way speaker has more bass than a two way speaker? Last time I checked, 3 way or 4 way simply meant the company stuck an extra crappy tweeter on the speaker.

For example:

No difference in the mid-driver there. Where do you get off saying that that extra tin-can tweeter is going to give the speaker more bass?

yeah well i forgot i had an extra sub lying around so what kind of amp should i get. it would probably be easier to do this. i have a rockford fosgate p1 12'. thanks.

get a component set up like MB OR ECLIPSE...i had both in my 98,and it was plenty loud with bass that didn't distort,but i had an amp pushing them too
