I just got an 08 GT with the Shaker 500 sound system and there is an intense rattle in the driver side door when I turn the radio up even a little bit, mostly when there's supposed to be bass. My theory is that the door speaker is blown but I'm not sure. Have any of y'all had this problem? And if so, was it the speaker itself or some part of the door plastic rattling?

 

Could be the door speaker or a loose mount. Pulling the door skin to ahve a look isn't too hard. Make sure there's nothing in the door pocket. I had an intense rattle in the passenger door whenever the bass thumped that turned out to be some bubble packed product my wife left in there. D'oh!
