Sirius in a '12
Hey guys
I can play Pandora all day in the Mustang through the OEM system. But, how can I get Sirius to work through the Mustang via the phone? When I open Sirius on the phone, the Mustang tells me that there are no Sync capable apps running on the phone.
Thoughts?

Sirius radio app may not play on the Sync system because it has an in-car receiver designated for that app is my guess. In other words, Sirius has it locked out as a useable app on the Sync system so you are forced to add a car subscription to your account. If you get a car account, you automatically get an online account that can be used from their website or their app.
Does your sync system allow you to use Bluetooth as an audio source? See if your Sirius app can be transmitted that way. You'd have to control sirius through you phone though.

In my 2017 when the Sirius radio went to "antenna fault" and wouldn't play I just used my phone app through sync until the antenna was replaced and had no issues. I had it plugged in to the USB port and not on bluetooth.
I don't think that there is anything blocking the app just because you have a Sirius radio in the car. Haven't tried it on my 2019.
