AVATAR in-dash screen

I have a chance to get an AVATAR in-dash screen fairly cheap ... the only problem is Ive never really heard of AVATAR, does anyone have any info on them, what kind of products they make, or where I can find their products new??

What does the screen do? Just a screen or does it play media?
