Default New system

Hi all, I am looking into installing a new sound system in my '04 GT. Since I want to retain my stock 6-disk head unit, what will I need to install everything? I am looking at 2 10" alpine subs a 4-channel amp. I basically need to know if my stock head unit will work with this new setup. If so, what parts or adaptors will I need to make it work? Thanks.

That will not work. On 03/04s the easiest thing to do is take out all the stock **** an replace it.

It will work. You will need 2 step down converters (convert speaker signal into RCA signal) tapped onto to appropriate speaker wires to get signal to the amps.

I'm assuming he meant a 4 channel amp to run his interior speakers, which will not work. However, if you mean a 4 channel amp to power two subs, why not grab a 2 channe or mono?

Whatever amp is fine, as long as it's alpine, I want to stick to that brand. You guys can probably tell that I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to this stuff. Anyways, I'd love to get a new head unti just because they look cool, but I really like the 6-disk built-in design.
