good 400w mono amp?
whats a good cheap but quality 400w rms mono amp?
its for two alpine 12s that are 200w rms a piece and im lookin to not spend that much because that is a really low wattage but i dont wanna get fked with cheap quality.thanks
also whats a good box for some type 12 e's? ported,sealed,bandpass? i can get some specs if it would help?

lol yea,umm lemme try to rephrase....a good quality amp within price range....i didnt want just the cheap or just really good quality listed...I dont wanna buy an amp thats mainly for speakers not subs isnt that what mostly rockford is.....would a kenwood be a good choice...

I'm not really sure how you are make the distinction between and amp for subs and an amp for "speakers." You said you want a mono amp. Mono amps are not designed to run full range speakers.
If you are looking for an amp that you can run some full range and some subs, you can get a high powered two channel, but you are going to wind up spending more than you want. I had an 800 want Power Class than ran my front components and two subs. Sounded excellent. However, that amp was over $800 dollars.
With those Type E subs, a Rockford amp would work just fine. They make solid amps. They don't have the best sound quality, but then again, neither do Type E subs.
