Default Wiring Problems

Hey...

I have a 91 Ford Mustang with premium sound, 6 speakers. Ever since trying to install my head unit for the first time, the stock amp has always caused a problem. I drove everywhere within a 10 mile radius trying to find a amplifier bypass harness, but I had no luck. So, I ripped the amp out, and kept the wiring. Now I need to find the wiring diagram from the Stock amp to the Speakers, so I can connect them to my head unit and enjoy them working again. This is the diagram of the wiring I pulled from the amp:

1) Picture1 has the wiring side
2) Picture2 has the connecting side

Now I need to know the diagram for which of those colors I should be connecting to my speakers wires from the Head Unit. The Wire harness for the black plug in does not work at all, so yea...

I can't find the wiring from the stock amp to the speakers ANYWHERE, so I was hoping someone here would know.

If the pictures don't work, this is how the colors go, looking from the wiring side:

A B C D
E F G H

A= Green /w Orange Stripe
B= Orange
C= White /w Black Stripe
D= Purple
E= Grey
F= Yellow /w Black Stripe
G= Brown
H= Light Blue /w Black Stripe

When you say 6 speakers, what type are they?

I'm guessing 4 full range and two tweeters?

From the head unit, only the right side of the car speakers were working. I've completely removed all the wiring, so I can redo it. I'm trying to figure out some trial and error to find out which wiring is to which speaker, does anyone know a quick way to do that?

No, there is no amp powering the speakers, the Head Unit has the internal amp.

Well the main issue I see here is the crossover. If the crossover is inside the headunit, which I think it is, you are going to have to come up with something to fix that.

i have a ford premium sound kit here thats made for bypassing the fatory amp. also if you want you could run new wires to the doors and in the back and put new speakers there it would sound better. dont worry about the dash speakers they wont last very long anyways.
