Default Pioneer AVIC-2

My first posting in this forum! For tose of you with a Pioneer AVIC-1 or 2:
1. Would you buy it again if you had the chance?
2. Were there any install issues (ie: needing to buy any special harnesses, stock amps and speakers working correctly)

Stereo upgrade will be my first purchase when I take delivery (scheduled to arrive in March). Any comments are much appreciated.

I would buy it again, but I would of waited, get the n-1, you don't have to override the dvd feature...

Do those units lock VIA GPS or brakes?

They lock the dvd playback feature. If you are going over 5 m.p.h. or either if you aren't parked, not sure which one, then the dvd won't play.

Is there a way to get around that? I was looking at getting the N-2. Hoping the price will come down now that the Z-1 is coming out. Thanks for the comments.
