Is anyone else tired of people trying to tell you that Audiobahn RULEZ ALL!!! Or that rocksford Fosgate is sooooo good and they are rated #1 IN COMPETITION SUBS!!!

How about, a 10" sub will hit crisper and have tighter bass because it's smaller than say a 15"...
They think just because it has a small cone that it will be more sq oriented than a large cone...

Is anyone else tired of this nonsense!?!?!?

i hear it everyday so i just let it go over my head and give them advice that will actually help them and show them that they are stereo stupid in a nice way.

 

Everybody knows the best subs are made by JL Audio, amps by Pheonyx Gold, and head units Clarion or Alpine

 

thats a bunch of BS right there. there are tons of companys that make stuff way way better then you listed. clarion head units suck and i know this cause i sell them. JVC and Panasonic are better and eclipse is way better than those and alpine. but dont for get about mcintosh or denon or the panasonic tube cdplayer and some others out there. and amps Arc DLS mcintosh zapco and about a dozen others are way way better the pheonix gold. the best subs arnt made by JL cause if you wanted an SPL sub you couldnt get that from JL there are probaly a dozen companys that have stuff as good and better than JL.

 

Why does everyone always down different brands??? everyone has their own opinion about car audio... everytime we talk about theres always an argument about NO THAT SUCKS OR THIS IS WAY BETTER, there is always something better guys, an sinister audio everytime we talk about car audio were always wrong!! downing everything we say!!! ok master of car audio just because you own your own car audio shop and sell all these brands doesnt mean that all these brands suck and which ones are better, as far as im concerned as long as their not brands like kingwood or lanzar or alpinO, there all good brands but you cant down alpine, jl, kicker, clarion, pioneer or even sony cuz they have been out for so long.....

 

the thing is that alot of companies know they make inferior products so to compensate they overadvertise and make false claims. i certainly cannot hate on em because they have superior advertising. never have i seen a arc audio or focal commercial yet. so those companies are doing exactly what they intended by reaching kids without alot to spend and who have no idea what real audio is about

 

I have yet to see a focal commercial, yet people still manage too pay $900 for their comp sets...

 

id say alot of good stuff about a ton of stuff that i dont sell. about 80% of the stuff i talk about usually i dont sell. and i have had a ton of experience so i think that gives me a very good opinion on products. and when i say something is wrong it is wrong and there are other people on here that know alot about car audio but i wouldnt say you dont know very much so usually when you say something it could be very wrong. Jl has some good stuff but there stuff isnt the end all top of the line products. kicker is over priced crap and i have to deal alot with that. if you think sony is a decent brand you might as go work at best buy. when people ask for reccomendations i give them ones i have had tons of experience with and know that it can do what they expect. if some one asked you whats a good budget SPL sub you would probaly say a JL W1 when an american bass DX would kick the crap out of for SPL and cost less. and you think JL amps are some of the best out there but im sure you havent even heard of Zapco or Arc. Arc audios middle line amps will kick the crap out of a JL slash series at half the cost.

 

exactly my point.....the rattle kids ain't buying 900 dollar anything but those who appreciate real quality equipment will. quality equipment really needs little advertizing
