Default Line-Out Converter Question on Mach System

Whats up guys...

I bought a custom powered sub box for my 02GT. The guy I bought it from has the line-out converters for it, and I was just wondering if you guys knew how to go about installing it. I know how to install an amp and sub and all that, but with the line-outs and the factory amps I was wondering if I could simply run the power and remote wires from the new box amp to the existing factory amps, rather than running a power wire throughout the whole car. And I also was wondering the best way to wire the line-outs to the factory speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again!!!

You want to run a new power wire to the battery... Remote you can grab at the factory amp. As far as the Line out converter, you could probably tap into the speaker wires at the factory amp, not sure if the factory amp is high pass or not. It's been a while.

not sure if i got this right but, you need to know how to install a line-out converter? i do it all the time... pull your back seats down and enter ur trunk that way, look up and ull seee your 2 mach 460 amps, in between them, and yor speakers ull see a connector(which completes the communication between the amps and speakers), unplug it. youll see 2 red wires (postive and neg) and 2 black (one pos one neg) ur line out converter will have 6 wires probably, mine has 2 grey, 2 black, and 2 brown. splice into the the wires from ur car. the brown wires or whatever color they are for you are ground and just get tied off together. i matched my grey with my black wires from the stock speakers (striped grey with striped black of course) and white with red. i dont think it matters all that much, if the wires get reversed, just switch ur RCAs cables coming into the converter. thats about it, hurts ur arms but pretty easy. i hope this is what you were asking about, lemme know if u need anything else

i actually wired the line out converter into my car yesterday. theres a link on the forum that tells you basically how to do it so u can probably do a search on that. my converter had 4 wires (2 Rights and 2 Lefts, positives and negatives). you want to splice those wires into the data cable in the back of that car. you can flip down your back seats and look directly under the mach system and the data cable should be in between the two amps. there are 2 black wires with green stripes, and 2 black wires with white stripes. the wires with the white stripes are negative, so wire the R- and L- into those. then wire the R+ and L+ into the black wires with the green stripes. im not too sure about the ground wire yet, im going to try to run the amp and sub without it first, and if it doesnt work, then the ground should be able to do it.
