Any recomendations for a good system based on either (1) 500-600watt sub or (2) 250-300watt subs, with an amp that meets those rms? What are some good sub and amp brands to look for? Are RF amps still pretty good, cuz I was thinking about pairing one of the p5002 with an Alpine Type R sub.

Also does any one have any experience with http://www.sonicelectronix.com/index.php ?

If u looking at crutchfield there a lil pricey!!!!!! u can get cheaper at local stores for alpine and rockford fosgate!! for subs id go with an alpine type x but def. go with a rockford amp!!

i have two 12' alpine e series 200w rms each in 2 boxes for sale,can ship in or out of the boxes,i also have the wiring kit for a 600w mono amp that i was using on em.....amp got jacked so stuck with the wires subs and no amp for em

Not to jack the thread, but the ported subs should have cracked first, unless they were being underpowered. A ported box will make more pressure inside than a sealed box, trust me on this one.

But yes, I agree, rockford sucks.
