having no rears at all is better..........set-up a nice front stage and throw some subs in the trunk..no need for rear fill

Lets see... alpine, mtx, fosgate, clarion, kicker, jl, jbl, eclipse, pioneer, mb quartz, kenwood, and on and on and on... personally I cant stand being without rear speakers but thats just me....

my guess is that you've never heard an sq system them. Once you've heard a properly set-up front stage then the 1st thing you would do is rip out any rear co-axs in your car.

I dont think that having no rears are better. They do a great job creating ambience and 'fill'. I personally like to do compnents for rears. Makes great dispertion of sound in the car.

Actually I have, I have a few friends with high quality sq setups and it does sound good but I wouldnt do without rear speakers, like I said its preference...

If you want to stay with a rear speaker set-up I've found Audiobahn and Cerwin Vega to be really good in Fox Body Mustangs. They sound well in this acoustic environment. Just adjust the sound properly so they don't overpower your front stage. I recommend adding a sub to your set-up if you don't allredy have!
