6th Annual V6MustangMeet Car Show - July 19, 2008 from 10am-
Hello everyone! The time has come once again for the annual V6MustangMeet in Southern California! For 2007, we took the time to plan some Dyno Days and weren’t able to get to it, but this will now be the 6th show!!
The show will take place on
July 19, 2008 from 10am-2pm
at Elysian Park in Dodger Stadium.
We would first off like to thank our past and current sponsors for all of their support! Without them, our shows wouldn’t be as great as they have been. Our current sponsors include: GrandDesignMat, GTR High Performance, CoolFlex.com, StealthAuto, VMP Tuning, Meguiars, CobraBob Gasket and of course AutoBadges and Stangsuspension. By the buzz of this show, we feel this show will inevitably be our largest show to date.
AutoBadges and Stangsuspension teamed up to put together a show and meet to allow V6 Mustang owners to be in the spotlight. With the mass market of parts available now, V6 Mustangs are quickly becoming the vehicles to build…not only by cost, but now fuel economy! This is the 6th show we will be hosting, and every single year the number of attendees has grown. Our 5th show brought in about 70 mustangs and over 100 owners (including guests) to our meet and show.
Our show consists of attending and getting a raffle ticket…yes, that’s it! People cannot purchase more tickets. What does that mean? Means that EVERYONE gets an equal shot at winning raffle prizes! Our last show, with the help of our sponsors, allowed for 95% of attendees to walk away with a prize! We host the show, with 2-3 raffles throughout the day and have attendees vote for the best v6 mustangs at the show.
We have 94-98, 99-04 and 05+ and have just recently added Best V8 Mustang in show to expand our attendance. We also provide refreshments and food all ABSOULTELY FREE to everyone that attends. This goes to show you we are not looking to profit off this show, this is a customer appreciation show we throw to give back to those that keep us running because let’s face it, without customers, no company would exist!

Ok everyone here is an update for you. I have already reserved (officially paid for location from 8:00am-5:00pm) our location for the meet. Turns out the location we chose was a perfect location! It is the only location that actually has it's own parking area!! Only problem is I know the people that get there very early are going to want to park their cars in there and mess up shots (it always happens, but sometimes they move when they feel stupid :lol: )
So here is the location.
This picture I am on Stadium Way. So those of you taking Sunset Blvd, Up Elysian Park, left on Stadium way...when you keep heading on Stadium Way you will run into this 'dead end' and drive right into the lot, we are in there :thumbup:
It's so easy to get there as well. Many people (or most) will be coming from the 5 South Freeway. When you exit it should be Stadium Way and you just literally follow Stadium Way all the way down and make a slight right onto ACADEMY RD (small hill you go down) and make a right turn into the parking area.
Some of you will have the Solano Exit off of the 5 North...follow that into Academy Rd and follow Academy Rd all the way until you are about to make a right curve...instead of making that right curve (yellow in picture), go down the small hill staying on Academy Rd (follow RED) and on the right is the parking entrance.
For this last picture I am on Academy Rd. You can see the slight 'hill' I talked about where you see a red sidewalk. If you are coming off the 5 South you will be coming up that street and making a RIGHT onto Academy Rd. If you are coming from the 5 North and following Academy Rd you will go straight down the little hill.

If you do not register, you do not get a raffle ticket. Plain and simple.
Registration is NOT...I repeat NOT for showing your car, but for a head count and to get a raffle ticket.
If you just show up and are NOT on the list...you will NOT get a raffle ticket, and will eat LAST! This is because we are trying to get a proper head count for food and drinks and raffle tickets/prizes and parking.
