what a night
went to a car meet and ended up racing Srt-4, formula firebird, 2002 Z28. i beat the Srt-4 with no problem. the formula i beat him by about a car i dont no how but i did lol. and the Z28 sad to say i lost but i kinda misshifted. he only beat me by a car. i was sad ) : he had intake and exhaust.

RE: what a night
depends on his mods... a stock manual GT can quasi hang with a auto ls1 from a roll... i know bc i just did it...
now I just raced a ws6 with my mods from a dig... he was in a shift kit auto with tuner, by the time i hit 3rd I was at his door and pulling... he thinks from a roll I would destroy him.. but from a dig ls1's are nasty... overall though i was suprised and happy... the little 4.6 that could

RE: what a night
Man, you're talking about an LS1 engine putting out over 320hp and like what 350lbs of torque or more. You're out powered by more than55 hp and more torque, not including if he has mods. I love new edge stangs as well, but that seems a little fishy. Unless, he just wasn't racing or bad driver mod.

RE: what a night
It would be more believable if it was an lt1 trans am, but not an ls1. Most bulitt or mustang gts have no chance against an LS1 unless that have nos or forced induction. It would take a Mach or an terminator cobra to kill most LS1s.

RE: what a night
I just don't see any stock or slighly modded bullit or mustang gt killing a LS1. Most ls1 camaros or trans ams run low 13s stock. I can fathom it beating a LT1, but that's still a driver's race. I only see a Mach 1 or Cobra killing a LS1. Otherwise the gt or bullit has to be boosted or sraying.
