SLP catted is what I have, you won't have to cut anything for a mid-pipe. Now if you replace your catback then you will, unless you drop your axle but that would be a pain.

I know Bassani will fit right in.. Very nice pipe, but very expensive.. If your looking for something that sounds almost as good as Bassani and performance wise is pretty close, go with VRS. VRS is from a company down in Florida.. Not very well known, but a truly good pipe.. I am running them on my Bullitt right now and I love em.

are you wanting to run an off road or catted you can run a lot of brands of x pipes as long as you don't have headers if you eventually want headers hold out and get some long tubes with an off road h only way to go

I got a BBK o/r midpipe with american thunder flows and it sounds awesome.....BBK and Bassani are going to give you the same fit as stock pipes and are great quality....BBK is cheaper.......Steer clear of MAC pipes i've seen some bad fits on many stangs.....good luck

I have UPR catted x-pipe(which was a better price) 199, It fitted perfect. Nothing to cut. I like it. It flows well and the sound is good.

I also have a UPR offroad X. Bolted up perfectly to my stock headers and cat-back. Sounds and flows nice. $189 from Texas Hotrods.
