I have heard you need to do a nice burnout to heat them up really good, good luck racing.

what tires are they? if nittos they wont grip that well, they might. bfgs are good, and m/t drs are better. the more sidewall the better. better weight transfer(squat), you can run lower pressure...

I have Nitto's on my Cobra and you will not move from the line unless they're brake-torqued for 5+ seconds...

I love my Nitto's on the street but for track duty I'd say Mickey T's FTW...

lol drag radials can break rear ends etc if they hook well, be careful and keep this in mind.

Heat them up good and launch hard. That's the only way you'll see 12's w/ what you got...

Nittos last longer than most DRs, but like everyone else said, they need to be heated for a few seconds and don't hook as good as others....but theyare still ten times better than street tires.I have had them in the past and was pleased.

You'll be lucky to see 2-3 tenths better with Nittos.
