I'll be heading down from Raleigh, and my friend from Norfolk will be coming too - we should definitely caravan our way down there

Are there any costs associated with the event itself? I know lodging, gas, and food, but I figured they would probably charge for the Mustang Week events as well...

Some of the events, like the drag strip, they charge the admission fee, but for like the meets/drives/etc, there are no charges at all

The only thing they charge for is myrtle beach speedway and the darlington drag strip. There is a specific hotel they advertise for mustang week but I've never stayed there so I don't know about the prices. I think it's on the mustang week website.

I've never stayed there either, the one time I went last year I stayed with my ex, her parents have a house down there. No such luck this year though..

we need to figure out a place to stay, how much its going to cost, now long we'd be staying, and how many people would be going...that way we can get something half-way organized.

Agreed. It'd be fun to have a big group meet down there to go to the events and everything
