So I thought I'd take the car in for its 100K servicing...it was going to be almost a grand for all of it so I opted to do just the plugs, oil and transmission (275 for just the plugs???). Four hours later, I'm still here thinking this may not have been a good idea after all. I think I'll do the rest of it...and everything else from here on...myself.

Plugs aren't hard to do. Can get some good ones for about $75 or so

Today was not a good day for SC. Shooting in a church as a hate crime, stupid and hateful thing to do. Idiot apparently went to my high school for a bit and I saw news vans there today. I'm assuming that is what they are there for. If so that's another victim, a whole school implicated as part of the cause for him snapping. This on top of the two (one fatal) shootings of minorities by white cops this year is horrible .

Alan, left to do is the rear diff, cooling system and fuel system. I don't know what is involved in the fuel system but I'm sure I could find out without a great deal of effort. I also have a blend door actuator clicking (overtraveling), my oil life monitor stays at 100% and the rear defroster doesn't work, but I didn't ask them to look at any of that. Oh if only I knew people who knew something about Mustangs...

Clint, dark day indeed. My uncle Albert passed away early yesterday morning as well.

But on a positive note as of yesterday I have a new grand-nephew, so not all news is bad news.
