The list so far:

Tint
Leveling kit w/ rear blocks
34s or 35s
Bug shield
Gooseneck hitch
Fender flares (the wife insists i get them AND have them painted)
Screens in front of the radiator and intercooler
Mud flaps if they will work with the flares

Am I missing anything for Day 1? I probably need a tuner to adjust tire size, but I'm not sure I can stand that temptation.
Congrats on the new truck Chris, that blue is sweeeeet

I'm excited. Time for a change. Probably made the Ford salesman's day, because my wife is thinking about switching brands too.

Congrats Chris. The dealer should be able to reprogram for tire size.

What tires are you thinking of running?

Usually I go BfG or Cooper, but this dealer had a line on some Nitto Terra Grappler G2s in 285/75 (34X11.25) so I told him I would give them a shot. Usually a set lasts me about 20k miles, so I'm not married to them.

I'm fond of my Goodyear duratracs. Bit more useful than bfgs in mud for sure and not loud on the road. I originally wanted Terra grapplers but they didn't make them for 15" rims in 31s.
Aren't bfgs a 40-50k tire? And you get 20k?

Imagine the worst dirt road you've seen. That's where I live. And uh, I don't drive slow either. Bad combination for tread life. I once bought a set of Coopers years ago that were worn out after 8k miles. They gave me my money back on those.

Bahahaha that's funny. You'd like the duratracs then, 50k warranty and a lot more agressive than bfgs at. Did pretty good in the red clay we have here.
