Thank you Alan.

Ordered a set of Lund Elite pocket style fender flares last night. Debating about whether to have them painted, or install them black.

Black with that color would contrast nicely.

That's what I think. Looks more rugged. Paint looks more custom.

Have a question for you guys.... I have a friend (Doesn't it always start like that???) who has an 15 Eco Boost and tracks their car. They were wondering what, if any, effects that they would have running the "no flat" tires on it (the kind that you can run at 30 mph for 50 miles after it goes flat).... wondering if the tire would have any adverse performance effect while tracking the car.....

They are heavier than a conventional tire, plus typically don't come in a softer compound. Tell them to go read the vorshlag build threads, they go over their track tire experiences in pretry good detail.

My wife has regular run flats on her Mini. We have a lot of flats, and I mean like one or two a week with all our cars. The Run Flats work great for that, she can always get home or to the shop.
Not sure, unless he lives in a location like I do, why he would need a run flat tire, don't most people have like one flat every few years?

I can't understand their reasoning, other than they may be a little paranoid about not having an actual spare tire in their car... and it's a "she"....LMAO

I can't remember (knock on wood) the last time I has an actual flat tire....

So, how many times would you say is "normal" for a person to be pulled over for speeding in their lifetime?

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:46 AM.
