I love Savannah! You got lots of pirate history and architectural history. You can drive over to Tybee island and be on the beach. When Jen and I went there we saw Dolphins swimming in the river.
Tybee is a cool place. There is a cemetery on the way to Tybee, Bonaventure. It's a cool place, the oldest one in Savannah, Spanish Moss hanging from the trees. Johnny Mercer, founder of Capitol Records is buried there.
North of us in Virginia is some great War of Northern Aggression battlefields, Jefferson's and Washington's homes, Colonial Williamsburg, Norfolk and the Naval yards, etc.
Hope everyone is staying warm and not having to deal with any of the snow. We have app. 10 inches of snow right now with another 3-5 tonight expected. If I could get out of the driveway I would be fine. I'll start digging out tomorrow.
We have 5 but it's been sleet all day for us. If it had been snow we would be up there with you. Raleigh has had freezing rain the biggest part of the day.

Haven't seen these guys in about 4 years. These were the guys that made up the last ODA I was on during my last trip to Afghanistan in 2010. It's not everyone, 4 guys were not in town. A couple weeks ago we were able to get together.
