I have 3:73 now and at my tq it's just useless in 1-3. I had 600+ pounds in the back seat over the weekend. Went to a party and 4 friends decided they HAD to have a ride all at once. 1-3 were still useless. Want to hook up and go!
Tires and suspension will help obviously but it just depends on what I want to do with the car. Which I have decided yet.

I here you on the torque. I think we have nearly the same numbers. I'm going to try these Invo 325's and see how it goes. If 1-2 are still crazy I'm really considering a swap to 3.55. With 3.31's at the track I crossed the line in 4th and I know getting to 5th is the best for that 1:1 ratio. I really think the 3.55 will get me in 5th and hook a lot better. Basically I'm trying not to run DR's 24/7. I may get another set of wheels and DR's for the track though.

If we can determine that the rear end in my car just needs some bearings or whatever I'm down for a swap. Hell it might not even be the rearend I am hearing.

you guys really been talkative today lol. I got off work at 5, came home and busted out a timing belt/water pump/seals on a honda and I come to 3-4 new pages! lol nice!
Yes that my take on it as well. I want to try some rims/tires first, then do gears. 20's look great, but 18's will give more preformance with sidewall flex for launch in drag.
Jason offered to sell me his rims, but I don't know how the stock Boss tires handle. 220 tread wear, which is better than what my Evo x had (100) lol
