CAROLINA CHAT
Sorry guys, I can't jump on that band wagon. While I understand Steve's want for an auto for competition reasons, the only vehicles I don't want in a manual are trucks and vans. Even trucks I could live with a manual, though it depends on the application (towing and hauling I'd want an automatic). I hate the vague feeling during shifting, plus the off the line starts during daily driving annoy the crap out of me. To each his own.
I kinda like it...minus the headlights.
On an unrelated note, my summer took a turn today. I received word during my second interview this morning that I got an internship position with Beau Welling Design in Asheville, NC. Their relatively unknown, but they are the consulting firm for Tiger Woods Design, so they have a big role in all of his golf course projects. I'm pretty stoked about getting my foot in the door of my dream career path!

Congrats HT. look into weaverville and wood fin area outside of Asheville. Not a bad place, close to DT and still some what cheap. I lived in Weaverville for a while. I still have family in Asheville. I love driving through the tunnel road tunnel.
Im with you guys on the dreams. You always have to have a dreams and goals in life or you will never know what paths to take. Goals are what brought me to working overseas and they are getting closer to being completed. About time to set some new ones.

I was out and about today and saw an "Elite Stangs Mustang Club" sticker on a Shelby and looked them up. They have a NC Chapter.
I thought about inviting them to join us for the next Lenoir. Everybody OK with that?
