Took a leisurely drive up Hwy 181 today, it's a great drive. Nothing technical, just a curvy road climbing the mountain up to Linville, NC. We had a picnic on the Parkway, it was 73 at 2:00.

Life's a beach!

It was a good trip, a little short but we had a good time. Jen is happy that she got her beach trip.

 

Cool...it does seem like vacation time goes by quicker than time at work.

 

Yeah, a 3 day weekend is more of a tease than anything.. especially since I spent Friday running around like a chicken. Took Jen's car to the dealer for some service only to have them jerk me around. Frick'n Chryslers! and stupid TPMS along with even stupider Techs.

 

Not great way to start off.

 

The crazy part was that we ran into a family at Carolina Beach from my hometown in PA who now lives in Cary. No, I've never met them before.
