We should meet at the CarMax and give her the proper send off and a moment of silence for her new journey!!!!

Have to swap the wheels on it first.

Ok something really weird happened today and I didn't like it.

I just filled up with gas and got on the road and the brakes felt weird, but then felt normal. Got onto the on ramp to 40, sped up at a brisk pace and then all hell broke loose.

Car was shaking and jerking and sounded like I had a flat, TC light was flashing. I pulled over to the shoulder, got out and looked at the wheels and everything seemed fine.

I let the car sit for a few mins and restarted and when highway was empty (in case something happened) I merge and accelerated at about the same pace that I previously did.

Everything seemed normal, even on the roads near the house I got a bit aggressive to see if anything happened, nothing.

I wonder if the abs sensors got dirty or something?

Ideas?

Something like that was reported, ended up with the car brakes locking and hydroplaning on the highway in texas. I saw it on the 5.0 technical section several months ago. I'll try to find it again, but IIRC it was a faulty module having to do with tc or abs (i think they are controlled by the same piece)

Could be ABS or TC....I know the v6's had a problem with the trans going into limp mode, but I haven't heard about the 5.0's having trouble.

Hrm... I'll see if they can check it out when I bring it in to get the passenger airbag sensor or whatever replaced that isn't correctly working.

Maybe a wheel speed sensor? I know I'm forever replacing those on GMs.

Only thing I did before I got gas was a aggressive turn and it was fine from work to the gas station, roughly 1.5 miles.

I will see if I can replicate this weekend.
